David Secombe has been a freelance photographer for over 30 years.

Group shows include: Golden Jubilee Portfolio, National Portrait Gallery, 2002; Printers’ Choice, Photographers’ Association Gallery, 2005; 60 Years of Royal Portraits, Rencontres Arles, 2007. The National Portrait Gallery holds a selection of David's portraits in its photographs collection.

David is also a writer; he writes screenplays with the novelist Andrew Martin, and blogs at The London Column, a literary and photographic survey of the life of the city.
